when we’re old, gray, but never gone

When our love

becomes flat lava flows

cooled, still flowing,

the eruption distant

in the dust kicked

by our carriage ride

along this beautiful

road, it will not mean

we love less, only

different like the

happy difference

between rain and snow,

having passed from

season to season to season.
