I’m quite new to all this blogging jazz, but I haven’t found many poets on WordPress yet who write in your kind of style. I love it! It’s deep and beautiful without sounding obscure or disjointed. I’m hopelessly addicted to alliteration in my own work and I love the way you used it in this poem!
It’s also interesting how you’ve taken something commonly viewed as “filthy” and made it a symbol of hope. 😊 Last but not least, the way you presented this poem (handwritten on paper) was very striking and caught my eye straightaway when I was strolling down the WordPress feed. 😊 Keep writing!
